What was I thinking? I somehow contacted Rachelle Davies and we went out again for 'old times sake'. We still had that love-hate relationship. The relationship didn't stick this time around but we did have a nice outing.
She wore this white fur coat. I doubt the animal activists would approve. It made for a couple of fun polaroid photographs though:

The Beginnings – Part 140:
“I RESPECT YOUR OPINION”
Sunday, November 20, 1983I slept in until around eleven o’clock this morning. I made it over to mom and dad’s house for breakfast. I telephoned Paloma from mom’s house and asked, “Are you coming over today?”
“I’m going back to bed! I’ll call you back.”During the course of our continued telephone conversation we came to a disagreement about the joys and taboos of cigarette smoking.
Paloma retorted, “I respect your opinion but since I don’t encourage you to start smoking you shouldn’t encourage me to quit.”
It was a bit upsetting to hear these words. Hell…they’re her lungs and it’s her death. I tried to not dwell on it. She was moody. All women tend to have their mood swings. Then again, men have their moods, too.
I slept a lot of the day myself. I also created a cassette tape of new KQAK tunes. I’ve been home since noon and it is now close to seven o’clock. I will probably go over to sip on some eggnog at mom’s house. It will get me into the festive holiday mood.
I believe I perspired most of my sick feelings away because of that herbal tea and turkey noodle soup. It was a good idea to prepare those remedies for myself.Paloma has not called me. She’s probably mad at me. She gets this way. I don’t intend on calling her because of her overly defensive stupidity over her cigarettes. Her comments really turned me off to her. She can’t see the forest through the trees. I’m only saying these things because I care about her. Once again…time will tell.
“Our lives are not our own. We are bound to others.”
