The Beginnings - Part 139: IT ACTUALLY IMPROVED WITH TIME

“All new encounters are tests—with food, with people, with ideas.  Smell everything first.  If someone tells you something, smell it!   If it smells all right, then try just a little for the taste, but always chew it.   Chew for a long time before you swallow.”
-Marlo Morgan

The Beginnings – Part 139:   IT ACTUALLY IMPROVED WITH TIME

Saturday,
November 19, 1983
Steve Sicarra and I ate breakfast on Park Street at OLE’S WAFFLE SHOP.   It was so good.  There’s a nearby book store at South Shore Center and I remembered that I wanted to buy a French-English Dictionary, so I did.   We browsed around at MILLER’S OUTPOST.

We returned to my pad and decided against driving in to The City for the Moscone Center Car Show because it was raining.   Steve only stayed a short while and left my place by noon.   I was kind of relieved when he left.  I felt boredom setting in.
I called mom and received a message from her.
Mom said, “Paloma called for you.”
“When?” I asked urgently.

"A little while ago.”
I hung-up and called her immediately.   I shared a few French phrases via my new handbook.   I think she liked that I was trying to work on my French.   Tonight is our party in San Francisco.   Who knows what will happen after that?
Paloma said something I liked: “Matt stood me up last night.   I called you later to go to a party but you weren’t home.”
"Ah shucks!” I shouted.
I miss her so.  I am overly anxious.  Naughty thoughts are stirring in my brain.  I can’t wait to make love to her.   I especially want to feel myself cum inside of her (excuse the blatant, expressive words).   That’s how I feel though.   I think she’ll love my brass bed.
I went to CAPWELL’s today with mom.   She bought a new comforter for her bed.   It was raining and we had a good time going out anyway.   The weather didn’t stop us.   Mom and I shared a few good laughs.  It was especially funny when I left the lights on in her car.   Then we saw another car parked nearby that had also left their lights on and the windshield wipers were going, too.    We cracked-up.
I said, “Well, at least I’m not that forgetful.  I wouldn’t forget to leave the windshield wipers ON!”
Luckily, the car started without a problem.

It’s almost 8PM and Paloma will be calling soon from the Downtown Oakland HYATT Regency.  That is where I’m supposed to pick her up.  Yummy!   I have to quit saying the words ‘Yummy’ and ‘Yucky’.    Paloma says it a lot and I picked it up from her.   There are so many other good words to use.
I picked up Paloma in front of the HYATT REGENCY and we drove off in to San Francisco.   I drove through Fell Street and on through Cole Street.   We were two of the first people to arrive at the party.   It seemed like it might turn out to be a rather ‘dead party’.   It actually improved with time.   I spent most of my time near Paloma.   We danced a lot.   I love dancing with her.   At around 1AM we decided to depart for ECHO BEACH.

We arrived at 1:35AM because I got a little lost while cruising through the Daly City vicinity.   It was uncanny how we ran into a Paloma Street right off of Ocean Avenue.   ECHO BEACH was ‘okay’.   Monica (Paloma’s blond girlfriend) was there.   I didn’t see any sign of David Vigil though.   We left the club at 3AM.   I ended up driving her to Berkeley.   We kissed a bit.   I didn’t hit the sack until 4:10AM.   I immediately fell asleep.   What a great night!

I am in dire need of advice.  I can sustain the present situation for a little while longer.   But I cannot shape it into any real and fruitful development, for I am too weak and inexperienced.
